Bootstrapping a Credit Card business for Americans with poor credit histories, by providing a fair product and treating people well. I was effectively an underwriter, creating credit scoring models for folks with bankruptcies.

National Science Foundation Research Fellow

University of California, Santa Cruz, University of California Observatories, and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory – September 2012 to July 2017

I developed operational and real time software for a research facility adaptive optics instrument at Lick Observatory and demonstrated the use of a predictive Kalman filter to correct for wind errors on a 1kHz adaptive optics system.
